abstract The invention relates to imidazo [2,1-b] thiazol-3- one derivatives of the formula (I), wherein the variables are as defined in the claims. It has been shown that the present compounds can be used for the binding and imaging of tau aggregates and related b-film aggregates, further including other beta-amyloid aggregates or alpha-synuclein aggregates, especially for use in the binding and formation of image of tau aggregates in Alzheimer's patients.
