abstract |
Here, conformationally stabilized ubiquitin proteins and methods for their use are provided to identify agents that bind to the stabilized ubiquitin protein or that bind to a protein that interacts with or processes the stabilized form of the ubiquitin protein. Methods for the detection of conformationally stabilized proteins that have an increased binding affinity to a ligand in comparison to the binding affinity of the wild-type form of the protein to the ligand are also provided herein. |
