abstract |
A supplementary device (2) is described for connection to an injection device (1) that includes a dosage window (13) that covers a sleeve (19) in which dose values are marked. The supplementary device (2) comprises a main body (20); an arrangement for supporting the main body of the supplementary device in a predetermined positional relationship with the injection device (1); a transparent protection window (80) located on a surface of the main body (20) that is smoothed with the dosing window (13) of the injection device (1) when in use; a sensor arrangement (25) supported on the main body (20) and having a sensor directed to the protection window (80); a lighting arrangement (29a-d) comprising one or more light sources, each of the light sources is directed to the protection window (80); and a non-transmitting part (85, 86) located in an optical path between a first of the one or more light sources. |
