Said method consists in contacting a sample suspected of containing organophosphorus pesticides with the enzyme chloroperoxidase of the fungus Caldariomyces fumago in the presence of thionine acetate, monitoring the changes in absorbance due to the enzymatic reaction and determining the degree of enzymatic inhibition using the data obtained. |
