abstract The present invention provides the new type VII agomelatine crystal, its preparation methods, its application and its pharmaceutical compositions. The crystal purity, the stability of the polymorphs and the good reproducibility and its method of preparation are better than in most existing reports regarding stability and solubility of the crystalline form. Therefore, the present invention provides a crystal VII which is advantageous in the preparation.
