Compounds are described herein which generally comprise an indene structure [2´, 3´: 3,4] naphtho [1,2-b] pyran. These compounds may be useful for their photochromic properties, and may be used in certain photochromic compositions. These compositions may also comprise other compositions and / or photochromic materials. In addition, these compounds and / or compositions may be suitable for preparing certain photochromic articles. Methods for preparing certain photochromic compounds, compositions and articles are also described herein. |
