abstract |
Cement retarders are based on mixtures of lignosulfonate compounds, borate compounds and gluconate compounds. The compounds are present in certain ratios that allow retarders to operate at temperatures and pressures up to and in excess of approximately 176 ° C and 152 MPa. The retarders can also be provided in liquid form, to improve their suitability for use in locations of the offshore well site. |
