abstract The present invention is related to the field of livestock production and animal husbandry. The problem that is solved with the invention is the lack of an agent that, without being an antibiotic or steroid, contributes to the development and growth of animals of zootechnical interest, which improves their productive parameters such as the rate of food conversion, daily weight gain, mortality, number of "lagging" animals, final weight or age to reach this, and productivity index. It consists of a method, an agent, the use of immunomodulatory metallopeptides (IMMP) to produce the agent, and the method of producing the agent.
