FUSION PROTEINS OF FRAGMENTS OF NATURAL HUMAN PROTEINS TO CREATE COMPOSITIONS OF FC OF MULTIMERIZED IMMUNOGLOBULINES FC. |
abstract |
The present invention involves a series of completely recombinant multimerized forms of immunoglobulin Fc thus presenting the Fc of polyvalent immunoglobulin to immune cell receptors. Fusion proteins exist both homodimeric and highly ordered multimeric fractions, called estradomers. Compared to the homodimeric fraction, purified multimeric estradomers have greater affinity and avidity for Fc? R with slower dissociation and are useful in the treatment and prevention of diseases. The present invention demonstrates that directly linking the Fc regions of IgG1 to multimerization domains leads to improved multimerization and biological activity. |
