abstract |
A method for packing plastic material using a film to surround the material and more particularly a method for packing a copolyester and the resulting shaped packaging thereof. Preferably, the method is a coextrusion process for packing an amorphous or semi-crystalline copolyester having a low glass transition temperature by extrusion through an orifice and matrix and coextrusion of a copolyester polymer film having a high glass transition temperature to surround the low glass transition copolyester. Then, the low glass transition coated copolyester can be formed into individual packing units having a defined size and shape. |
