titleOfInvention WATER DISINFECTION THROUGH ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION IN SOLAR ENERGY.
abstract A solar water treatment device (10) is disclosed to minimize bacteria and other pathogens in water for treatment, which is supplied to the device (10), the device has a metal surface (25) inclined to receive water (34) treatment through a supply pipe (37) at an upper end of the metal surface (25) to flow down therein in a thin surface flow, a solar energy transfer panel (14) transparent or translucent that is separated above and adjacent to the metal surface (25) whereby solar energy passes to the water on the metal surface 25, and water collection means (28) in a lower end area of the metal surface (25) after passing through it, where the treatment water (34) flows at a flow rate between 0.1 and 2 liters / m2 / min of the metal surface (25).
