abstract |
A process for producing a urethane (meth) acrylate monomer that has a low acidity index and a low content of a high molecular weight impurity that is hardly soluble, which is highly cross-linked in a dimensional manner, comprising the steps of: (1 ) contacting a first solution containing a urethane (meth) acrylate monomer having an acid number of more than 0.2 mgKOH / g and an organic solvent to an adsorbent containing water capable of adsorbing an acid component to obtain a second solution containing a urethane (meth) acrylate monomer having an acid number of no more than 0.2 mgKOH / g, organic solvent and more than 5,000 ppm (by mass) of water based on the (meth) acrylate monomer urethane; (2) contacting the second solution with a dehydrating agent to obtain a third solution containing no more than 5,000 ppm (by mass) of water based on the urethane (meth) acrylate monomer; and (3) remove the organic solvent from the third solution. |
