Particulate structures and their manufacturing method are described for use in an electric generator that uses a gas-mediated charge transfer. The structures comprise a multiplicity of particles containing gaps between the first and second opposite surfaces of said particles. At least a portion of said opposite surfaces are modified such that the load transfer capacity of said first opposing surfaces differs from the load transfer capacity of said second opposing surfaces. |
