abstract |
The present invention is related to the field of human and veterinary medicine. The problem that is solved with the invention is the lack of an agent that improves the immune response in immunosuppressed subjects or with autoimmunity problems, as well as with infections; decrease the effects of stress, fight tissue fibrosis; the need for anti inflammatory agents; of treatments for acute and chronic hepatitis; of treatments against malignant processes and metastases; as well as plaquetopenia, all in humans and animals. It consists of a molecular complex formed by a metal ion and a peptide as a novel compound, which is called "immunomodulatory metallopeptide" or "lmmunomodulator metallopeptide" in English and which we will abbreviate as "IMMP". The process for obtaining the complex, the use of the metallopeptide to produce a therapeutic or nutraceutical agent and the use of that agent in humans and animals are also included in the claims. |
