The present invention relates to novel neuropeptide Y analogs, pharmaceutical compositions containing them, pharmaceutical formulations containing them a method of treating diseases or conditions mediated by the binding of receptors to neuropeptide Y. More particularly, the present invention relates to novel neuropeptide analogs and having at least one substitution of an unnatural amino acid. Such as 4Hyp at position 34, which selectively binds to the Y1 neuropeptide receptor subtype compared to the Y2 neuropeptide subtype. |
