titleOfInvention GASTROSCOPE.
abstract The invention relates to a gastroscope with an insertion tube (2), in which a working channel (3) is arranged, and with a sensor (4), which is guided by a guidewire (5) in the channel (3) working, the sensor (4) comprising a first electrode (6) of a noble metal, which cannot be attacked by acid, and a second silver electrode (7), and can be applied between the first electrode (6) and the second electrode (7) an electrical voltage and, in the case of the presence of ammonia, a modification of an electrical quantity can be measured between the first electrode (6) and the second electrode (7). A gastroscope of this type allows an examination of the gastric acid as well as the gastric mucosa tissue to determine the presence of Helicobacter pylori that is only a bit annoying for the patient.
