abstract | The present invention describes compositions comprising Agave fructans that stimulate the absorption of mineral salts and their fixation in bone in mammals, under osteoporosis conditions, also generating pronounced beneficial effects in the decrease of plasma glucose levels and in the reduction of weight. body measured in ovarioectomized female mice, administering the standard diet and compositions of the invention.
