titleOfInvention | PROCESS FOR THE DECREASE OF ARSENIC LEVELS IN FLUORITE PRODUCTION. |
abstract | The process describes how to remove arsenic from fluorite to leave it according to international standards, the process is initiated by which fluorite is separated from other heavy minerals which is called "flotation" where water is added to the gutter by which fluorite passes; There a catalyst containing iron sulfate, sodium pyrophosphate and oxalic acid is added, which is responsible for separating the arsenic and fluorite molecules, keeping the particles in suspension and distributing them evenly. Next, ceramic vanes and an iron rod are placed at the bottom of the gutter and connected to a power source so that with pulses the electrolysis is carried out and the arsenic will be "sequestered" by the rod, giving as Fluorite result with low levels of arsenic. |
