titleOfInvention A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PERSONAL TREATMENT OF THE SKIN.
abstract A skin treatment apparatus for personal use is described. The apparatus includes an optical radiation that provides a module that operates in a pulsed or continuous mode of operation, a mechanism for continuous movement of the apparatus through the skin, and an adaptation of the device's speed of movement monitoring. When the device is applied to the skin, the optical pulse repetition rate establishes the power of the optical radiation as a function of the speed of movement of the device. The apparatus has a hair removal mechanism configured to mechanically remove hair from the treated segment of the skin.
