abstract | The present invention relates to an autocatalytic polyol based on vegetable oil derived from the reaction product of an epoxidized vegetable oil and an alkanolamine. The autocatalytic polyol according to the present invention can be used as a replacement for all or a portion of petroleum derived polyols generally used in the production of polyurethane materials. The polyurethane materials produced can be used in a variety of applications, such as foam applications, elastomers and coatings. |
