METHODS FOR MONITORING THE MODULATION OF KINASE ACTIVITY OF THE RECEIVER OF THE FIBROBLAST GROWTH FACTOR AND USE OF SUCH METHODS. |
abstract |
The present invention relates generally to in vitro diagnostic methods, in particular the use of a compound selected from the group consisting of fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF23), inorganic phosphorus (P), the inorganic phosphorus product and Total calcium (P x tCa), osteopontin (OPN) and parathyroid hormone (PTH) as a biomarker. Such biomarkers can be used to monitor the modulation of the kinase activity of the fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR), in particular, its inhibition and / or the occurrence of side effects of FGFR inhibition. The invention also provides methods and kits related to these uses. |
