titleOfInvention | TRANSFORMATION AND MODIFICATION OF RISKS BY ENGINEERING IN MISCANTHUS SPECIES. |
abstract | Methods and compositions are provided for efficient Miscanthus transformation. The method includes Agrobacterium infection, particularly those comprising a binary vector. In this way, any gene or nucleotide sequence of interest can be introduced into the Miscanthus plant. The transformed nucleotide gene or sequence of interest will be flanked by at least one T-DNA border and will be present in the transformed Miscanthus in a low amount of copies. Also transformed cells, tissues, plants and seeds of Miscanthus are provided. |
