abstract The present invention aims to provide a suspension of fine particles of rutile phase titanium dioxide, coated with silver nanoparticles with antibacterial properties superior to those existing in the state of the art, for a variety of applications such as their addition to paints, synthetic fibers, elaboration of t-shirts, socks, shirts, to avoid the bad smell of sweat caused by bacteria and ceramics with bactericidal properties.This invention presents a method for the production of fine particles of titanium dioxide coated with metal nanoparticles, particularly particles fine titanium dioxide rutile phase coated with silver nanoparticles with diameter for fine particles of titanium dioxide rutile phase in the range of 200 to 300 nm, stable and dispersible and for silver nanoparticles in the range of 20 to 60 nm , useful in physical, biological, biomedical and pharmaceutical applications tools such as antibactericides and antimicrobials. Also, the present invention contemplates an industrial production system for obtaining the fine particles of rutile phase titanium dioxide coated with silver nanoparticles.
