The invention relates to a highly cohesive composite material formed of at least one polymer and at least one compound selected from mineral oxides, silicoaluminatos and activated carbon, said composite material having - an average number of particle size of at least 150 µm, - a pore volume (Vd1), consisting of pores with a diameter between 3.6 and 1000 nm, of at least 0.4 cm3 / g, and - a C1N cohesion index, equal to the ratio (average number of particle size after an air pressure voltage of 4 bar) / (average number of particle size without air pressure voltage (0 bar)), greater than 0.40. It also refers to a method for preparing the composite material. It also refers to the use of this composite material as a liquid support, a catalyst support, an additive or for filtration of liquids or gases in particular in cigarette filters. |
