METHODS AND AGENTS TO IMPROVE THE RECOGNITION OF TUMOR CELLS THAT EXPRESS CD138. |
abstract |
Immunoconjugates having specificity for CD138 that reduce the adhesion of tumor cells expressing CD138 to stromal cells and methods for using them are described. This reduced adhesion makes tumor cells not only susceptible to immunoconjugates, but also to other agents in particular to cytotoxic agents. |
