titleOfInvention CURABLE PHOTOCROMIC COMPOSITION.
abstract A curable photochromic composition is described which makes possible the formation of a curable photochromic body that shows good photochromic characteristics for a prolonged time, while having excellent mechanical strength. By using the curable photochromic composition, a curable photochromic body can be produced at low cost. A curable photochromic composition specifically containing 0.001-10 parts by mass of [E] a photochromic compound per 100 parts by mass of polymerizable monomers composed of [A] not less than 0.1 part by mass, but not less than 5 parts is described. by mass of a radically polymerizable monomer, which has a specific epoxy group, [B) not less than 1.0 parts by mass but not more than 15 parts by mass of a radically polymerizable, polyfunctional, specific monomer, [C] not less than 1.0 parts by mass but not more than 30 parts by mass of a specific di (meth) acrylate monomer, and [D] more than 50.0 parts by mass but not less than 97.9 parts by mass of (meth) acrylate and / or uncle ( met) acrylate different from the compounds [A] - [C].
