The invention consists in the use of phosphoric acid, in a process of concentrating a dispersion or an aqueous suspension of calcium carbonate in the presence of at least one acrylic dispersant, as an agent that it allows reducing the amount of free dispersant, that is, the fraction of acrylic dispersant not adsorbed on the surface of the calcium carbonate particles and present in the aqueous phase. It also refers to aqueous dispersions and suspensions of calcium carbonate, which have a reduced amount of free dispersant. |
