titleOfInvention BICYCLIC AMIDAS TO IMPROVE GLUTAMATERGICAL SYNAPTIC RESPONSES.
abstract The present invention relates to compounds, pharmaceutical compositions and methods for use in the prevention and treatment of cerebral insufficiency, including improvement of the synapse receptor in brain networks responsible for basic and major order behaviors. These brain networks are involved in the regulation of breathing, and cognitive abilities related to memory impairment, as observed in a variety of dementias, in imbalances in neuronal activity between different regions of the brain, as manifested in disorders such as Parkinson's disease, schizophrenia, respiratory depression, sleep apnea, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and mood and mood disorders, and in disorders where a deficiency in neurotrophic factors is involved, as well as in breathing disorders such as an overdose of an alcohol, an opiate, an opioid, a barbiturate, an anesthetic, or a nerve toxin, or where respiratory depression results from a medical condition such as central sleep apnea, central sleep apnea induced by stroke, obstructive sleep apnea, congestive hypoventilation syndrome nita, obesity hypoventilation syndrome, sudden infant death syndrome, Rett syndrome, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, Cheney-Stokes breathing, Ondina curse, Prader-Willi syndrome and drowning. In a particular aspect, the invention relates to bicyclic amide compounds useful for the treatment of such conditions, and with methods for the use of these compounds for treatment.
