abstract Zinc fingers comprising CCHC zinc coordination residues are described in the present invention. Zinc finger proteins and fusion proteins comprising these CCHC zinc fingers are also described, as well as polynucleotides encoding these proteins. Methods for using these proteins for genetic editing and genetic regulation are also described.
