The present invention relates to thiophene sulfonic acid picolinic amides of the formula I (see formula I) where R 1a R 7 and n have the definitions indicated in the claims and to the N-oxides, the salts acceptable in agriculture and in the veterinary of the compounds I, being precise, that if the thiophene ring is linked to the sulfonyl group via position 2, R6 cannot be found in position 5. The invention also relates to a process for preparing these compounds. In addition, the invention relates to the use of compounds I and N-oxides and acceptable salts in agriculture thereof to combat phytopathogenic fungi (hereinafter referred to as harmful fungi). Additionally, compounds I, their N-oxides and salts can be used to control arthropod pests. In addition, the invention relates to seeds comprising a compound I or an N-oxide or an acceptable salt in agriculture thereof. |
