abstract A port closure system for use with a fluid container that has fluid ports, which includes administrative and additive port closure assemblies. The administrative assembly receives a punch punch and includes an administrative housing that seals a fluid port closed. A sleeve extends from an inner surface beyond a base surface in the administrative housing. The sleeve has an upper portion and a lower portion of different diameters. A lid assembly matches the administrative housing, seals the inner surface of the administrative housing. A removable cover provides access to the inner surface. The administrative assembly receives a needle and includes a resealing housing that seals another fluid port closed. Another lid assembly matches the resealing housing, seals an inner face of the resealing housing. Another removable cover provides access to the inner face. A resealable housing is mechanically retained between the resealing housing and the lid assembly.
