titleOfInvention IMPROVEMENTS TO ACRYLIC POLYMERS CONTAINING HYDROLYSABLE GROUPS OF ORGANOSILAN COMPOUNDS
abstract The present invention relates to improvements to non-gelled acrylic resin composition comprising a polymer to acrylic which has in a molecule thereof at least one group containing a silicon atom said group is selected from (formula) wherein each R independently it is selected from the set of groups consisting of y groups, hydrogen, a C1-C10 group attached to each other via a Si-C bond, and OR7 in which R7 represent alkyl having at least 4 carbon atoms, aryl, alkylaryl, arylalkyl, aryloxyalkyl, or alkyloxyalkyl, wherein y represents a group readily hydrolyzable such that the number ratio of grams of said acrylic resin composition to group equivalents and readily hydrolyzable in said non-gelled acrylic resin composition is in the range from 40 to 667.
