The present invention relates to a skin conditioning composition, characterized in that it comprises a) from about 5 to about 30 percent glycerin; b) from about 10 to about 70 percent of a continuous silicone fluid phase consisting essentially of at least one liquid organopolysiloxane; c) from about 20 to about 80 percent of an aqueous discontinuous phase comprising an oil-in-water emulsion of a non-particulate, oily liquid, cosmetically acceptable, dispersible in an aqueous phase; and d) from about 0.5 to about 5 percent dimethicone copolyol to disperse (c) in (b). |
