titleOfInvention DISPERSIBLE GRANULES IN WATER AND PROCEDURE FOR ITS PREPARATION
abstract The present invention relates to water dispersible granules characterized in that they comprise: a) an aggregate of essentially spherical microcapsules comprising at least one water insoluble pesticide encapsulated within a polymeric shell wall, b) formulation aid, c) up to about 8 weight percent moisture, said granules being essentially spherical and having diameters within the range of about 150 to 850 microns. A process for the preparation of water-dispersible granules, characterized in that it comprises: a) forming an aqueous suspension comprising discrete microcapsules containing at least one water-insoluble pesticide within a polymeric crust wall suspended in an aqueous medium and auxiliary agents for formulation, and b) forming drops of said aqueous suspension and spray drying said drops to form water dispersible granules.
