titleOfInvention | PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE TAPE |
abstract | The present invention refers to the pressure sensitive adhesive tape, characterized in that it consists of a copolymer of by weight (a) a predominant proportion of acrylic acid ester of a non-tertiary alkyl alcohol, the molecules of which have from 1 to 14 carbon atoms, at least a predominant proportion of the molecules have a carbon to carbon chain of 4 to 12 carbon atoms, ending in the hydroxyl-oxygen atom, and the chain contains at least approximately half of the total number of carbon atoms in the molecule, and (b) a secondary proportion of at least one copolymerizable monomer having a polar group, where the improvement consists of: the pressure sensitive adhesive layer includes hydrophobic silica having a surface area of at least 10 square meters per gram, and in an amount consisting of 2 to 15 phr in weight. |
