The present invention relates to a deodorant composition characterized in that it comprises: a) from about 0.1 to 1.0 percent of an antimicrobial ingredient selected from the group consisting of pyroctone acid, metal salts of pyroctone acid, secondary and tertiary oleamine salts of the pyroctone acid and mixtures thereof and b) from about 0.1 to 7 percent of a perfume comprising from about 5 to 50 percent of components selected from the group consisting of aldehydes, ketones and mixtures thereof. |
