abstract The invention relates to chemistry and medicine, namely to a biologically active coordination compound of the class S-alkylisothiosemicarbazonates of transition metals and can be used in medicine for the prevention and treatment of rhabdomyosarcoma. 1-yl)-2-[1-(pyridin-2-yl)ethylidene]hydrazine-carbimidothioate-N,N,S}copper of the formula: inhibiting the proliferation of RD human rhabdomyosarcoma cells. The result of the invention is the synthesis of a copper coordination compound, which inhibits the proliferation of RD human rhabdomyosarcoma cells 13.6 times more actively than its structural analogue.
