abstract The invention relates to chemistry and medicine, namely to the synthesis of a biologically active coordination compound of molybdenum (V) of the class of transition metal thiosemicarbazonates. This complex inhibits the reproduction of yeast-like fungi and due to these properties can find application in medicine and veterinary medicine as an antifungal agent. According to the invention, the claimed compound bis (μ2-sulfido) -bis {[N-cyclohexyl-N '- (1-pyridine-2 -yl) -ethylidene] carbamohydrazonthioato- (N, N, S) -oxomolybdenum} sesquihydrate of the formula: The said compound exhibits the properties of an inhibitor of the reproduction of yeast-like fungi.
