titleOfInvention | Compound 2- (propylthio) -5H- [1,3,4] thiadiazole [2,3-b] quinazolin-5-one, exhibiting anti-tuberculosis activity and method for its synthesis |
abstract | The invention relates to chemistry and medicine, namely to the synthesis of a novel compound, which may find application in medicine as an antituberculous preparation. The essence of the invention consists in the synthesis of compound 2- (propylthio) -5H- [1,3,4] thiadiazolo [2,3-b] quinazolin-5-one of the formula:, which exhibits antituberculosis activity. The synthesis process of the claimed compound consists in the solution containing 2-mercapto-5H- [1,3,4] thiadiazolo [ 2,3-b] quinazolin-5-one and triethylamine in acetone on boiling and stirring are added propyl iodide. The reaction mixture was stirred for 24 hours at reflux, then the solvent was removed on the rotary evaporator, and the precipitate formed was washed with water, acetone and air dried. |
