| abstract |
The invention relates to a process for preparing a combretastatin (a) in the form of a base or an addition salt with an acid, comprising coupling in the presence of a base and t3p the salt of the compound ( z) -amino of formula (i) with a doubly protected 1-serine derivative of formula (ii) wherein pg denotes a protecting group of the amine function so as to obtain the compound of formula (z) - (ib) : then deprotect and open the cycle of (z) - (ib) in the presence of an acid so as to obtain combretastatin (a) in the form of salt; and optionally adding a base to obtain combretastatin (a) in base form, the salt of the compound (z) -amino having been obtained by enriching the salt of the amino compound of formula (iii) to the isomer (z) . |
