THE INVENTION CONCERNS N-ALKYLAMIDES FROM FORMULA (I), IN WHICH A, HET, X, R1, R2 AND R3 HAVE THE MEANING-SPECIFIC MEANINGS THAT MODULATE THE TRANSCRIPTION OF ENDOTHELIAL SYNTHASE OF NITRIC OXIDE ( NO) AND REPRESENT PHARMACOLOGICALLY ACTIVE COMPOUNDS OF VALUE. MORE SPECIFICALLY, THE COMPOUNDS OF FORMULA (I) INCREASE THE ENZYME EXPRESSION OF ENDOTHELIAL NITRIC OXIDE SYNTHASE AND MAY BE APPLIED WHEN THEY WISH TO INCREASE THE EXPRESSION OF THE ENZYME OXIDE, INCREASE THE LEVEL NITRIC OXIDE, OR NORMALIZE THE DECREASING LEVEL OF NITRIC OXIDE. THE INVENTION ALSO CONCERNS THE PROCESSES FOR THE PREPARATION OF COMPOUNDS OF FORMULA (I), THE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING THEM, AND THE USE OF THE COMPOUNDS OF FORMULA (I) WHEN MANUFACTURING A MEDICAMENT FOR STIMULATING THE EXPRESSION OF ENDOTHELIAL SYNTHASE OF NITRIC OXIDE OR IN THE TREATMENT OF VARIOUS DISEASES INCLUDING CARDIOVASCULAR DISORDERS SUCH AS ATHEROSCLEROSIS, THROMBOSIS, CORONARY DISEASES, HYPERTENSION AND HEART FAILURE, FOR EXAMPLE. |
