New sulfonamides as plant protection products Summary Sulfonamides of the formula I wherein the substituents have the following meanings: R1 hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkenyl or alkynyl; and R2, R3, R4, R5 hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy or halomethyl; and R2 and R3 may also together form a phenyl, cyclopentyl or cyclohexyl ring, which rings may carry two R2 'and R3', R2 ', R3' hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy or halomethyl groups; and in case a), when R 2, R 3, R 4 and R 5 signify hydrogen: X denotes a phenyl radical, which is substituted by a -C (R 6) = NOR 7 group, with R 6 alkyl and R 7 alkyl, benzyl, alkenyl, haloalkyl, haloalkenyl, alkynyl or haloalkynyl; and in the case b), when at least one of the groups R 2, R 3, R 4 and R 5 does not mean hydrogen: X denotes a phenyl, naphthyl or saturated, partially saturated or aromatic heterocycle, at five or six members linked through a C atom, containing one to four heteroatoms of the group O, N or S, X being substitutable according to the description; Process for the preparation of these compounds, agents containing them as well as use in the fight against phytopathogenic harmful fungi. |
