abstract This invention pertains to microorganisms having oil-products degradation activity and to biotechnological methods for soil treatment of oil-products. The offered isolated microorganism-destructor consortiums have resistance to high concentrations of oil-products and ability for oil-oxidation. The mentioned microorganism-destructor consortium is deposited on 14 October 2008 in International Depositary Authority - Microbial Strain Collection of Latvia (MSCL) at University of Latvia. Depositor has conferred number MDK-825 for this microorganism consortium, but International Depositary Authority confers number P825. Consortiums could be isolated from soils being durable polluted with oil-products. Thanks to multiply composition-structure of consortium it is possible degradation of different fractions of oil-products.
