titleOfInvention | Method for producing live attenuated staphylococcus aureus vaccine for treating mastitis in cows |
abstract | Invention describes a method for producing vaccine for use in veterinary medicine. The method provides for growing Staphylococcus aureus microbes in beef-extract broth and subsequently on beef-extract agar which are isolated from inflamed udders. The vaccine is obtained from supernatant of growth media and it contains attenuated microbes together with their alpha and beta toxins. Microbial mass from supernatant is diluted and injected into animal body. This immunization induces low titre of antibodies (1:32) and temporary immunity. |
