METHOD OF RECOVERY OF 2-OXO-4-PHENYLBUTAIC ACID \ t |
abstract |
2-Oxo-4 phenyl-butane-acidity sodium salt or ester reacts with molecular hydrogen if Palladium catalyst is present and turns to 2-Oxo-4 phenyl-butane-acidity salt. The salt reacts with ethyl iodide and turns into the end product through the appropriate ketal. The end product is obtained through extraction by hexane. The ethyl ester of the salt is a valuable syntonin for the synthesis of anti-hypertension medicine (enalaprils and the like), modified amino acids and other compounds. |
