The nutrient medium Candida for fungi growing contains a source of nitrogen, orthoacid, calcium salt, maltose, streptocin, animal blood serum, and distilled water, additionally it contains citric acid and amphoglutamine. Protein powder, after lysozyme has been extracted from it, is used as a source of nitrogen; while calcium lactate is used as calcium salt. |
