abstract The invention belongs to the field of production of urease inhibitors and can be used in the production of urea fertilizers. The formulation comprises a solution containing N-(n-butyl)thiophosphoric triamide (NBPT) dissolved in a solvent containing glycol ether. In order to increase the volatility of the proposed preparation, to reduce its harmfulness, the mentioned solvent is a mixture of solvents from glycol ether and at least one or more natural essential oils or their components or their mixtures.
