titleOfInvention | CDNA of a Novel Plasminogen Activating Protein Isolated from Korean Centipede |
abstract | The present invention relates to cDNA of a novel plasminogen activator isolated from Korean centipede ( Scolopendra subepinipes mutilans ). More specifically, the present invention relates to a plasminogen activating protein having a molecular weight of about 25 ± 1 kDa of the cDNA of a Korean centipede-derived plasminogen activating protein consisting of an open reading frame of 834 bp and a mature protein translated therefrom. Through amino acid translation analysis, which is translated from the cDNA of the plasminogen activating protein, this protein is a typical serine proteolytic enzyme, and has a considerable phase with plasminogen activating proteins such as a tissue-type plasminogen activator (tPA) or urokinase. It was confirmed that it had homology. Therefore, S-PA-II cDNA provided in the present invention can be expressed by an expression system established in recombinant E. coli, yeast, baculovirus / insect cells and animal cells, S-PA produced in such a large amount -II can be applied to the preparation of novel thrombolytic agents. |
