titleOfInvention Surfactant, emulsifier for emulsion polymerization, dispersant for suspension polymerization, and resin modifier
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a surfactant comprising a novel compound having a dibasic carboxylic acid structure, an emulsifier for emulsion polymerization, a dispersant for suspension polymerization, and a vinyl resin modifier.n n n The compounds of the present invention are represented by the general formula (1)n n n [XO- (R 1 -O) m -OC-R 2 -COO] y M (1)n n n (Wherein M is a hydrogen atom, a metal atom or a group having a quaternary nitrogen, y is the same number as M, R 1 is at least one hydrocarbon group, and R 2 is a residue of a dibasic acid or an anhydride thereof , M is a number of 0 to 1000, and X is a hydrocarbon group having at least one polymerizable carbon-carbon double bond, which may contain an oxygen atom and a fluorine atom.
