titleOfInvention Reactive Distillation Methods and Apparatus Using Liquid and Vapor Phase Particle Distribution
abstract The present invention is carried out in a reactive distillation zone comprising one or more catalyst zones adjacent to two distillation zones, where the distillation vapor is circulated from the bottom to the top in a manner that is not substantially in contact with the catalyst and the liquid is in the top distillation zone. From (5) to a zone substantially centered at the bottom of the catalyst zone, circulating without contacting the catalyst, and having a radius downstream of the catalyst zone by one or more means 20 for injection into the liquid distribution zone 8. After circulating in the direction, the method relates to a reactive distillation process in which the liquid is recovered in the lower distillation zone 14 by one or more liquid discharge means 19 by circulating through the catalyst layer 8 in the catalyst zone. The present invention also relates to reactive distillation.
